Moray Jazz Club meets every 2nd and 4th Thursday evening of each month at Elgin City Football Club Social Club, Borough Briggs Road, Elgin IV30 1AP

Doors are open at 7.30p.m. and there is live music between 8p.m. and 10.30p.m. Performers include a number of excellent local musicians and guests from further afield who play a wide variety of Jazz & Blues. Come along and enjoy an evening with us in friendly surroundings. Visitors to the Jazz Club are very welcome. There are candlelit tables and a fully licensed bar including soft drinks and hot drinks. 

Admission fees are £5 for members and £7 for non-members.

Annual membership (April to March) costs £20.00.

Formed sometime in the distant past – possibly in the pre-saxophone era, Moray Jazz Club has been quietly, warmly, but devotedly “tooting the trumpet” for jazz fans most Thursday nights at the Elgin City Social Club on Boroughbriggs Road in Elgin.

For many years, a talented and dedicated troupe of local musicians have formed organic and fluidly shifting ensembles providing a metropolitan quality of sound in a small backwater of a city.

Coupled with a regular smorgasbord of professional or enthusiastic amateur performers, the local jazz diet has proved to be high octane, high quality, high calorie and high karamba!
